By accessing and using HomeAide Services ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
HomeAide Services is a platform that connects service providers with clients seeking home and professional services across Cameroon. The platform facilitates:
- Service provider registration and profile management
- Service request creation and management
- Communication between providers and clients
- Payment processing for services
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration: You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.3 Account Types: You may register as either a Service Provider or a Client. Each email address may only be associated with one account type.
4. Service Provider Terms
4.1 Provider Responsibilities: Service providers must:
- Provide accurate information about their skills and qualifications
- Complete the registration process and submit required documents
- Maintain professional standards in all interactions
- Fulfill service commitments made to clients
4.2 Commission: HomeAide Services charges a 10% commission on all completed service transactions. This commission is deducted from payments before provider withdrawals.
4.3 Verification: Providers may be required to submit verification documents including CNI, medical certificates, and criminal records for certain service types.
5. Client Terms
5.1 Service Requests: Clients may create service requests specifying their needs, location, and preferred dates.
5.2 Payment: Clients agree to pay the agreed-upon service fees through the platform's payment system.
5.3 Cancellation: Cancellation policies apply as specified in individual service agreements.
6. Payments and Fees
6.1 Registration Fees: Service providers may be required to pay a one-time registration fee upon approval.
6.2 Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. HomeAide Services does not store credit card information.
6.3 Withdrawals: Service providers may request withdrawals of their earnings, subject to our withdrawal policies and processing times.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Transmit any worms, viruses, or malicious code
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by HomeAide Services and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
HomeAide Services acts as a platform connecting providers and clients. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by service providers. Users engage with each other at their own risk.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
